I saw the snow covered house and though....Damm it's Misery...let me check this out...to be honest I have never read the book, but am probably going to pick it up now because I really liked the movie. Kathy Bates and James Cann are AMAZING...I also LOVED the guy who played the sheriff. The house is great, I actually got a kick out of really watching it this time, looking at all her knick-knacks, that the table is evened out with some books under the legs. I remember when I saw this at the show and looking away when she "hobbles" him, the way his ankle just gets wrecked!!! I did the same thing at home, popped a pillow over my face for a second...:>....it's not scary in a traditional horror evil kinda way but is a really good and WELL ACTED movie. I remember when my uncle said he popped his head in to check on me at the show that I was "scooted" all the way up to the edge of my seat biting my nails.....yeah that's Misery...it's one to watch....
