This was on cable the other night when I was flicking channels in bed. I saw the snow covered house and though….Damm it’s Misery…let me check this out…to be honest I have never read the book, but am probably going to pick it up now because I really liked the movie. Kathy Bates and James Cann are AMAZING…I also LOVED the guy who played the sheriff. The house is great, I actually got a kick out of really watching it this time, looking at all her knick-knacks, that the table is evened out with some books under the legs. I remember when I saw this at the show and looking away when she “hobbles” him, the way his ankle just gets wrecked!!! I did the same thing at home, popped a pillow over my face for a second…:>….it’s not scary in a traditional horror evil kinda way but is a really good and WELL ACTED movie. I remember when my uncle said he popped his head in to check on me at the show that I was “scooted” all the way up to the edge of my seat biting my nails…..yeah that’s Misery…it’s one to watch….
